House of Representatives of Mahalat and Delijan in Parliament: The issue of pursuing the creation of a stone research center should be taken seriously by the government and the establishment of a knowledge-based company in the neighborhood should also be pursued.

Alireza Salimi said on Tuesday at the opening ceremony of the 10th International Iranian Stone Exhibition in Nimvar, Iran: The establishment of the Iranian International Stone Exhibition in Mahallat city can be used to expand and enhance the mining and quarrying industry. Ultimately, it will provide an increase in exports.

He added: "It was tried to hold an international local and regional stone fair which has taken great strides and is on the right track."

Salimi said: "There are good capacities in the neighborhoods, about forty-seven million tons of the neighborhood's mineral reserves, and about two million tons are harvested annually, but its exports are mostly crude."

He noted that human capacity is also unique, given that all workers have the same expertise and information and are capable of more than college education and are dominant in the workplace.

"Despite the capacity, there are problems on the way to work, and our share of the world's stone market is less than half a percent, while our neighbor's share is 24 percent," he said.

Salimi added: "This number and the difference is significant, they have 24% of the world stone export market and we have half a percent, we are far behind and we need to plan and try to fix the deficiencies." .

"The market is not just waiting for us, but waiting for no one, whoever has worked harder is the winner," he said. The industry doesn't wait for us, if we stop we are devoured, so we should not underestimate ourselves.

"Some laws are not enforced and some laws are not properly implemented, for example the VAT law, which is actually a tax on consumption," he said.

"The reality is that we have problems with the banking system and tariffs and we cannot hide these problems. On the other hand, we need to seek targeted imports so that the domestic market and units do not face bankruptcy and destruction," he said.

Salimi noted: The issue of pursuing the creation of a stone research center should be taken seriously by the government and the establishment of a knowledge-based company in the neighborhood should also be pursued.
