Abolghasem Shafi'i: We are in the stone industry
Head of Iranian Stone Association: Poverty in education and awareness is one of the problems in today's stone industry. It has the best equipment and machinery but is not used for export development, which is why Stone Society pursues education .
According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Abolghasem Shafi'i inaugurated the 10th International Iranian Stone Exhibition in Nimar Mahalat, pointing out that Iran's stone history dates back to the Achaemenid period. There are country and stone factories in Mahallat city but they are not exported one meter of stone.
He said that Iran's total exports of crushed stone were one hundred and twenty-six million dollars and crude stone one hundred and forty-seven million dollars, said: "Our score in the field of stone is zero, what do you say? Hepco and Azar Ab are empty at today's exhibition Hepko was supposed to feed the mines of the country, but has faced serious challenges.
Shafi'i said that in the stone industry, we are baffled by the threat of imported stone and said: "If we remove the complications from the stone industry today, the industry will go bankrupt, how long should we treat this patient with such side effects and people should Pay for mismanagement?
He pointed to the high cost of production: "We have not really had the right marketing so far and we have to look for the right approach in the world markets. The figures that are being made today in the field of stone industry are not correct."
Referring to the focus of the association on four main issues, the head of the Iranian Stone Association stated: Poverty is one of the problems of today's stone industry. It has the best equipment and machinery but it is not used for export development, therefore Stone Society is fundamentally following the theme of education.
Shafiei said mining, equipping and refurbishing were another matter of concern to the association, adding that the mines in Mahallat County could revive Hepco, but that was subject to refurbishing the factories and mines.
According to the report, the head of the Iranian Mining House also considered the weakness of the country's stone industry in the market area and said: Governments should determine the market and the route and in this regard the Iranian Stone Association can also facilitate and facilitate the route with the cooperation of the government.
Referring to the fundamental role of education in the stone industry, Bahramman said: "During the boom in the stone industry in the country, we were saturated, which caused a serious damage to the industry at a time of stagnation, and this was a result of the weakness in global markets." Because if we had markets, such a stone industry would not be paralyzed.
He said: "Because of the potential and huge investments in the stone industry, we need more help and we need to have a specific strategy to realize the $ 2 billion projected export by the association."
