Russia will become Iran's most important stone market
Member of the Board of Directors of the Mahalat Stone Carving Guild: Due to Iran's border with Russia and Turkey's vacancy in this market, Iranian artisans can make significant progress in this area.
According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Hassan Ghahramani, a member of the board of directors of the Mahalat City Stoneworkers Association, in an exclusive interview with the Iranian Stone News Agency, pointed to the strong presence of the Iranian stone industry at the Moscow Exhibition. There is not much in Russia and the view of most of the houses in this country is either cement or old stone.
He added that in order for the culture of decorative stone to be incorporated in the country and become popular, proper advertising must be carried out and people's awareness of using this type of product should be raised, which is time consuming.
"Of course, some hotels and luxury homes have used decorative stones, mostly granite, for their facades. Russia has rich granite mines that have done valuable work in processing these stones," he said.
A member of the board of directors of the Mahalat Stone Carving Association continued: "The assumption that many stone industry activists have about exporting and trading with other countries is incorrect. Nowhere in the world are we buying or selling stone or other commodities From this side of the world we send stones to the other side of the world, and the money is very easily deposited into our account; wherever the world has its own rules and regulations, these rules must be met and followed in order to succeed.
He noted: The rule of law in Russia is to have an office there, to register a reputable company and to participate in the tenders. There are a lot of sales and deals through the bidding and the one who can win the bidding gets the job done. You have to be there and not work with real people.
He said: There is no such thing as a long-term check in Russia, a check that is issued on the day of the check; For all the work they want to do, even the smallest ones write a contract that is very valid.
"The Russian market, given its great potential, could be one of the most important target markets for Iran's rock," he said. My prediction is that given Iran's border with Russia and Turkey's vacancy in this market, Iranian artisans can make significant progress in this area.
He emphasized: Sangestan Stone Carving Group, led by Mr. Abbas Azarnoush, was one of the companies present at the Moscow Exhibition, which justly left the company and its management for the Moscow Stone Exhibition and made every effort to make the Pavilion better. The stone of Iran has been put to work and it is necessary to acknowledge them for their great efforts.
