Marketing of the stone industry should be a priority
Active in the stone and mining industry: There is no better way to market the stone industry than to attend numerous fairs abroad and internationally.
According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Hossein Mahmoudi, an activist with experience in the stone and mining industry, said in an exclusive interview with the Iranian Stone News Agency: It's marketing.
He added: There is no better way to market the stone industry than to attend numerous exhibitions held abroad and domestically, as it is a product that must be seen by the buyer and provided with the necessary explanations about its quality and quantity.
Activist with experience in the stone and mining industry stated: To attend numerous exhibitions it is necessary for the government to assist the stone industry activists. The cost of attending foreign exhibitions is high, and if the manufacturer wants to pay for all of this, it cannot naturally attend many of these exhibitions.
Mahmoudi noted: "In the field of banking without usurpation and lowering of bank profits there is a great deal to be said, but so far we have not seen the results. Still, when we apply for a bank loan, we still have to pay high profits.
"Advertising costs are very high and if we pay these costs and we can't answer the damage we are doing will be double," he said.
He emphasized that when there is a severe downturn in the country's industry there is nothing to do with advertising and the like and it probably won't work. The market needs to be in a balanced position to double the sales process with advertising.
He added: "At the moment, it is possible to do as much advertising as possible without harming the manufacturer, and as soon as the market has thrived, its value will be equal." Advertising is a very important category in the industry, which unfortunately has not received serious attention in the stone industry so far.
