Quantity rather than quality in some exhibitions
Chairman of the Board of Iranian Stone Association: If domestic exhibitions are gathered from all over the country and instead of many exhibitions, a complete and comprehensive exhibition will be held.
According to the Iranian International Stone Exhibition, Mohsen Ghiasvand, chairman of the board of directors of the Iranian Stone Association, said in an exclusive interview with the Iranian Stone News Agency: “The stone industry has a lot of positive points due to various reasons. Unfortunately, we have not been able to have an acceptable position in the world and we have always replaced quantity with quality.
He added: There are many exhibitions in Iran every year, but unfortunately, virtually none of them have the necessary quality, because the principles of procurement and distribution are mostly not respected. Organizing exhibitions inside Iran in many cases takes into account the presence of the general public, and there are no specialized visitors and those who are truly engaged in the industry, so many of them do not have the necessary output and often do so. To say that we are too.
Many domestic exhibitions lack the necessary infrastructure and facilities, and we can only showcase some of our achievements, Ghiasvand said. In order to realize these capabilities and to facilitate the export platforms, we must pay particular attention to the infrastructure of our exhibitions.
"Because of the fragmentation and regionalization of indoor exhibitions, many of these exhibitions have lost their fullness," he said. If domestic exhibitions are gathered from all over the country and instead of all the numerous exhibitions, a complete and comprehensive exhibition will take place.
