Most of the excavations of the city with modern technology
The head of the Mahalat Industry and Mining Department announced the presence of one hundred and ten mines in the city.
According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Hassan Salimi said: "There are more than 100 mines in Mahalat city, of which about seventy-six are active and the rest are semi-active due to the current economic conditions."
He said that the annual extraction of minerals from these mines is twenty five to thirty thousand tons.
Salimi said: "About three hundred industrial units are active in the city, of which 200 and eighty are active in the field of stone and the rest are active in the field of food, clothing, ....
The head of industry and mining in Mahallat said: "Stone quarrying units in the city also have a capacity of 30 to 40 percent.
He said thirty percent of the stone processing units in the city are working with modern technology and the remainder are being mechanized.
Salimi said: Investing in the mining and mining sector requires a relaxed atmosphere, opportunities and potential, and a space for interaction between the producer, distributor and investors.
Head of Mahalat Industry and Mining Department said: Mahalat city has provided space for marketing, recognizing and introducing potentials by holding various exhibitions of capacities and potentials.
