Deputy Minister of Mines for Industry, Mining and Commerce: Exports of raw, technologically engineered rock from the country make $ 100 million annually.

According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Jafar Sarkhani said on Sunday at the inauguration of the 8th International Exhibition of Stone and its Related Industries: The amount of stone extracted from mines in the country is seventeen million tons per year, half of which is granite.

He said: "The mining sector is growing so well that the country's mines grew 10 percent last year and surpassed the country's average growth, which should be exploited properly."

Expressing that the identified mineral reserves of the country's ornamental stone are two billion and four hundred million tons, Saraqini said, "There are one thousand nine hundred active and licensed exploration mines in the country that have created a hundred and ten thousand job opportunities in the rock sector.

Deputy Minister of Mines of Industry, Mining and Commerce noted: Six thousand units of stone mining and technology are operating in the country, of which five thousand five hundred active units and five hundred units have export standards.

The governor of the central province also said in the ceremony that the post-sanctions era is the best opportunity to reproduce the country's production capacity, especially in the fields of industry and mining.

Mahmoud Zamani Qomi added: Central Estonia has three thousand industrial and industrial units, which, due to the large specialized companies to the micro industries, are among the most important infrastructural assets of the country and their stagnant capacities should be activated in the light of efficient planning and implementation.

He explained: At present some of the province's manufacturing and industrial units are operating at 30 percent of their capacity, but if their full capacity is enabled, the problem of unemployment and job creation will be eliminated from the cloakroom.

The governor of Markazi province stated: Scientific studies of central and provincial mining and mining problems have been summarized and follow-up is required for national and macro-level support for activation of stagnant industry capacity in the province.

When activating the stagnant capacity of industries and mines in the province, an estimated 100,000 new job opportunities have been created, Zamani Qomi said.

He said: During the boycott of the Central Province, there were minor losses in the economic and industrial sphere that were not less than the damage suffered by the provinces during the eight years of sacred defense and that, in the shadow of the government's strong support, the hope of a standardization of production would be resolved.

The representative of the people of Mahalat and Delijan in the Islamic Parliament also said in the ceremony: Twelve percent of the world's stone is produced in Iran, but the country's share of stone exports is only 1 percent.

Hojatoleslam Alireza Salimi added: "Turkey has gained 12% of its stone export with the management and technology of the day.

He called for support for stone mines and stone processing units to be essential for export development, stating that improving the position of stone exporters would not be achieved by paying high-interest banking facilities and that the National Development Fund needed more help from the industry.

The People's Representative of Mahalat and Delijan said it was necessary to set up two special economic zones in the south of the central province to expand production and increase exports of minerals and ores.

He added: Special economic zone in Delijan for export of water insulation and special economic zone in Mahalat city for development of export of stone, flowers and ornamental plants and customs office in one of these two cities should be set up.

The local governor of Mahalat also said in the ceremony: Mahalat town has unique features, one of which is the utilization of stone reserves and stone processing and decorative workshops alongside the mines.

Sayed Ahmad Sajjadi added: There are twenty-five stone-processing workshops in the city with state-of-the-art technology and unique equipment in the Middle East that should be strengthened.

Sajjadi called for the consolidation of country stone fairs in Mahallat city and said: "Thirty hectares of land have been allocated to Mahallah International Stone Exhibition, which should be owned and given to industry and mining."

He emphasized the reduction of bank interest on the mines and stone processing facilities and added that if appropriate and inexpensive facilities are injected in this area, it can increase efficiency in the short term and minimize waste.

The International Exhibition of Stones and Related Industries is open to the public until the twenty-second of September.

The city of Mahalat is in the south of the central province, about 100 kilometers from Arak.
