Six hundred thousand tons of crude are exported from Iran
Managing Director of the 8th Iran International Stone Exhibition: Iran produces 14 million tons of crude stone, of which only 600,000 tons are exported.
According to Iran's International Stone Exhibition, Behnam Nikfar said: "The above export volume is very low compared to the production capacity and stone required by the processing plants and very few are able to carry out sanctions against Iran." Exports account for only five percent of crude exports.
He added: "Ninety-five percent of crude is currently consumed domestically and only five percent is exported, which has no impact on domestic factories' production and if the situation shifts to using new technology, The stone will increase with the lowest percentage of processing waste and against the export of crude stone.
The director of the 8th International Stone Exhibition of Iran said: With the advanced machinery and the right methods, the efficiency of the plants will be doubled and the need of the factories for raw stone will be reduced; They have good markets, are exporting processed stone and are exporting raw stone.
Nikffer said: The use of waste stone and its conversion into valuable products in many developed countries is regarded as a serious industry, while many mines in the country do not pay much attention to second and third grade stones. And they only use top grade stones.
