West Azerbaijan is one of the most important mineral poles in the country with two gold mines, the first rank of ornamental stone production and the third rank of mineral diversity, but this capacity has been neglected for many years.

According to the Iranian Stone Exhibition, geological features, especially in the excavation of two Zagros Azerbaijan sedimentary zones, have resulted in a variety of mineralization of minerals including mica, gold, silver, mercury, chromite, copper, various types of silica, dolomite, ore, Titan and a variety of marble, travertine, marble, porcelain and granite and feldspar ornamentals, fireproof coal… as a unique resource and wealth in the province.

But for many years, this great wealth of God has been the victim of neglect and neglect, as well as the lack of cooperation of some executive agencies in the development of the province's mining infrastructure, and the deprivation and looting of this huge treasure has now become a part of the region.

In recent years, officials have repeatedly spoken of the crude mineral sale at several meetings, and considered it to be the most important obstacle to the development of the mines, although the province's mining experts also believe that the crude sale is not all problems but the lack of infrastructure. Necessary measures have caused this problem.

He added that many executive devices, including service devices, are in line with the development of the processing and development industries. The mines in the province are stoned.

Abedpour positively assessed the measures taken in the province's mining sector in recent months, adding that good progress is now being made in the mining and gold mines of the province.

Abedpour cited natural resource disagreements due to large vegetation cover despite frequent correspondence and subject matter at the level of the two ministries. He said that the lack of minerals in proportion to the variety of minerals, the erosion of mineral machinery and Infrastructure weaknesses, along with a shortage of executive projects, conflicts and local disruptions, are other barriers to the mining sector in the province.

He added: To solve these barriers with the creation of Provincial Dialogue Boards and issue with governors, efforts are being made by provincial authorities to support the owners of the mines and industries along with the culture of supporting the production and local disputes department, eliminating the province's mining problems and The province will reach its true position in this sector.

Mohammad Mehdi Shahriari, insisting that the province's mineral capacities were not properly identified and introduced, urged the relevant managers to prepare as soon as possible the investable mineral stains and also asked the managers to exploit the power of the mines to generate wealth and employment.
